Terms of Service

Last updated: April 8, 2026

Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Clearvew in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are accepting these terms on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the service.

Description of Service

Clearvew is a cloud-based software service that helps Google Workspace administrators audit, analyze, and remediate external file sharing risks in Google Drive. The service is provided on a subscription basis as described on our pricing page. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the service at any time, with reasonable notice where practicable. The service is provided “as is” and without warranty of any kind, express or implied.

Google Workspace Integration

To use Clearvew, you must authorize access to your Google Workspace through Google's OAuth 2.0 protocol. You are solely responsible for ensuring that you have the appropriate administrative authority within your Google Workspace organization to grant this authorization and to perform remediation actions. Clearvew is not responsible for changes to file permissions made on your behalf at your direction, including any unintended consequences of bulk remediation actions. You should review all remediation actions carefully before executing them.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use Clearvew only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You may not use the service to access Google Workspace data for any organization for which you do not have administrative authorization, attempt to circumvent security measures, or resell or redistribute the service without our written consent. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

Disclaimers

Clearvew is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including without limitation any warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure, that all files or sharing configurations will be detected, or that risk scores are accurate for every use case. You are responsible for your own compliance obligations and for validating any audit findings before taking action on them.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Clearvew and its officers, employees, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or reputational harm, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claims arising under these terms will not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings, effective at the end of the current billing period. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the service at any time if we believe you have violated these terms, with or without prior notice. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately and we will handle your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service and any disputes arising out of or related to them will be governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. You consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Delaware for the resolution of any such disputes.
